By downloading, installing, or using the Deep Connections app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Who We Are

Deep Connections is a mobile application developed and operated as an independent app. The app is available on iOS and Android and accessible at deepconnections.app. For questions, contact us at support@deepconnections.app.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirements

Deep Connections is rated 17+ on the Apple App Store and Mature 17+ on Google Play. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 17 years old.

The Couple Flames mode contains mature and suggestive content intended for adults only. Before accessing Couple Flames, users must confirm they are 18 or older via an in-app age gate. By confirming access, you declare that you are at least 18 years of age.

We reserve the right to terminate access for any user who misrepresents their age.

3. What the App Does

Deep Connections provides structured conversation experiences through five modes:

Deep Conversation — question-based conversations for personal depth
Debate — structured intellectual discussion between two people
Couple Spark — fun and playful prompts for early-stage couples (17+)
Couples Deep — vulnerability-focused conversations for partners (17+)
Couple Flames — intimate and suggestive prompts for couples (18+, age confirmation required)

The app is designed to facilitate real human connection. It is not a social network, matchmaking service, or communication platform.

4. Accounts and Authentication

The app supports anonymous use and optional account creation via email or social login. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Deep Connections operates on a freemium model. Certain modes and features require a one-time purchase or subscription, processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
To cancel, manage your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings
Prices are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase
We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice

For refund requests contact support@deepconnections.app. Refunds are subject to App Store and Google Play policies.

6. Multiplayer and Room Features

The app includes real-time multiplayer sessions where users can join a shared room using a code or QR link. When using multiplayer features:

You are responsible for who you share room codes with
Room sessions are temporary and not permanently stored after completion
The host of a session may incur charges under the host-pay model where applicable
You must ensure all participants meet the age requirements for the mode being played

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Deep Connections to:

Harass, abuse, or harm others
Allow minors to access age-restricted content
Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute app content
Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Circumvent any payment, age gate, or access controls
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the app

8. Intellectual Property

All content within Deep Connections — including questions, prompts, modes, design, and branding — is the intellectual property of Deep Connections and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any app content without written permission.

The conversation questions and prompts are original works crafted by human authors. They may not be scraped, copied, or used in any other product or service.

9. Privacy

Your use of Deep Connections is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the app, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

Deep Connections is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. The conversation content is designed to facilitate human connection and is not a substitute for professional relationship therapy, counselling, or medical advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deep Connections and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. For significant changes we will notify you via the app or email.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the jurisdiction in which the developer is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Deep Connections at any time, without notice, if you violate these terms or engage in conduct harmful to the app or its users.
